My Spiritual Journey
Updated: Jun 5, 2025

I was born in 1991. As a child, I was connected with the spirit realm and spent my days feeling the love and spirit connection, preferring that over most people. I could sense the presence of nonphysical beings and was scared to go to the bathroom at night in the dark. As I got a little older, I would spend my days living in 5D frequencies, anchoring that onto the planet. I lived in flow, peace, and bliss and was unaffected by all the negativity around me. I did not understand why others were so caught up in it or why they chose to focus on it. I saw the beauty in others and in the world around me.
One of my gifts is transmuting negative and heavy energies in my surroundings, which happens on autopilot outside my conscious control. People feel good around me, or they have a release that is uplifting. I also had an ability to attract ladybugs, they would frequently come to me even though I lived in the city.
One day, an out of place thought entered my mind, “I wonder what it would be like to not live in happiness?” It was a strange thought that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to entertain. Little did I know, that thought was to be the beginning of my descent to 3D. It was not that I had an ideal, perfect childhood, but I seemed to have lived in an elevated state, a 5D bubble. I had a dream where I was told I would lose my wings and no longer be able to fly. I was young and had no idea it was a metaphor or what it would mean.
But shortly after, I moved across continents and began a new life in a new place. A place that seemed to have a lot of shadow and negative energy that I wasn’t used to. It was a tough and challenging experience I could no longer transcend. For the first time in my life, I found myself in considerable pain and suffering. I didn’t know what to do with it. I tried to block it out and became addicted to reading books. I would read every spare moment I had, in between classes and on the transit. I enjoyed reading tremendously and it offered me respite. I clung to the past for a long time, and during the worst of it, I had an angry crying fit over my loss.
Over time, I moved on and got used to things. I continued to experience struggles, including with insecurity in my teens and with mental health and well being in my 20s - I had anxiety and, at the worst of it, depression. I did not believe in God or angels or things we could not see, measure, or prove. I even thought these things were a crutch for people who couldn’t cope with life. In short, I had come to a place far from my magical childhood.
However, my soul still remembered who I am. I would find myself drawn to certain things that reminded me of the truth. One such instance was my interest in ancient history and ancient cultures in high school, especially my fascination with Ancient Egypt. I was disappointed with my high school course on this subject, as they didn’t teach what I was looking for. I would later find what I was seeking through the likes of Graham Hancock’s work and GaiaTV.
Around 2012, during my undergraduate years, I had a kundalini activation (read about that here). I also opened my mind to the existence of ETs after coming across a compelling and convincing documentary. Slowly, I was awakening to my true nature.
I discovered Elaine Aron’s book on the Highly Sensitive Person. It provided me with much validation and understanding of my experiences growing up in the world, and it gave me the awareness that I needed more self care and the permission to be kinder and more compassionate towards myself.
The catalyst for my massive spiritual awakening did not occur until 2020. Everything would change. I was working a scientific consulting job I thought I would love but was turning out not to be the right fit. I came across an astrology course that promised to reveal my destiny and I was hooked after watching a few videos. After studying astrology in depth, I further opened my mind to concepts of soul, reincarnation, being born with a life purpose, and our spiritual connections. I started coming home to myself.
I discovered oracle cards and gathered quite a collection of them. I went to visit Machu Picchu in Peru and came back altered in some way. I became resolute about not watching or tolerating violence in TV shows and movies. I quit my job and moved out to live on my own for the first time, a few months before the pandemic lockdowns occurred. Thus, my healing journey, the journey back to myself, and back to love began.

Physically, I was treating all sorts of pains, aches, and imbalances with yoga, massage therapy, myofascial release, Rolfing, and floating. I healed my nervous system with polyvagal theory and associated exercises and techniques for returning to safety, calm, and engagement for social connection. Emotionally, I was processing and purging the backed up information about past events that came flowing through me now. Mentally, I opened up completely to all the extrasensory phenomena, various spirit beings, the divine, a universal intelligence, and all things spiritual and New Age.
Through example from others, I was given permission to believe in the unconventional and it allowed me to toss out all the societal conditioning I never truly believed in anyway. I packed it up in a box and threw it all out the window in one fell swoop. Although it was a relief initially, the suddenness and completeness of the release made my ego mind go crazy for a while, asking myself in a panic, “Who am I? What do I do now?”
I learned human design and the gene keys. I was attracted to countless crystals, including blue lace agate, moonstone, black crystals such as obsidian, tourmaline, and nuummite, and especially selenite and various quartz crystals, most notably clear quartz, rose quartz, and citrine. I would leave them in my bedroom and around my desk, where they offered soothing solace, good energy, and upliftment in myself and in the surrounding environment. I believe they played a role in my healing.
I had entered a spiritually heightened period of my life (progressed moon in the 12th house) where I received information about who I am as a Spirit and Soul. I know that a part of my life's purpose is to live for the Goddess. I lay all my emotional experiences, especially the painful ones, on her altar.
I continued to heal and expand with energy healing and high-level spirit healing and mentorship. After one such powerful session opened up my heart chakra, I felt overwhelming unconditional love for my fellow humans as I went walking down the street to go grocery shopping. This healing allowed me to exponentially raise my self-love and self-care. I continued showing up to receive rewiring of my brain, removal of shadow, healing soul wounds, and upgrading of light codes from senior spirit beings and this practice yielded me quiet confidence, a strong inner foundation, self-empowerment, equanimity, and sitting deep inside myself from a comfortable place. I am now most definitely a spiritual person.
I visited Mt. Shasta and Sedona, where I had ET contact (read about that here). My third eye opened more and I began to see myself more clearly, no longer viewing through the distorted lens of illusory ideals. I deepened into knowing my inherent worth and stopped chasing shiny things.
My first Saturn return coincided with this period of my life. For me, it was about letting go of childhood wounds and renewing and fortifying my relationship with my parents. Overall on my spiritual journey, I developed resilience, reset my nervous system, and became grounded, present, and aligned with my true self. I gained deep self-awareness and inner peace. I’m learning and living my human design and I walk forward empowered to fulfill my destiny, with Spirit at my side.
After all the expansion and exploration during the 2- to 3-year spiritual transit, things started coming back down to earth. I began planning for getting a job and being in a relationship. Then I was nudged to a higher calling. I dreamed of gathering my soul tribe, a network to share inspiration with, to remind us of who we are, and what we’re here to do. And thus this site was born. My intention is to draw together like-hearted individuals who resonate with me. We need each other and we’re stronger together. Life is more fun and meaningful when lived in community. I believe that I’m meant to rise to 5D again along with others so that we can enjoy it together.

I was also uprooted as a child and moved to the States when I was 5 years old. This post definitely resonates with me, especially since I also felt like my life started to plunge into darkness in my early twenties. I was spiritually vacant most of my childhood and adolescence and really didn't believe in much until I too had what I believe was a spontaneous Kundalini awakening. It's like my heart was yearning for what I felt as a child: the peace, the good feelings, the love, the freedom. I believe my chakras opened up to find the source of those feelings and I found them again through psionic connection with non-human intellegencees and a deeper connection with…
