Central Channel Breathing: A Mystical Experience During My Spiritual Awakening

During my spiritual awakening around 2020, I had numerous mystical experiences. One such experience was breathing not through my nose, mouth, and lungs, but through my central channel.
The central channel is a primary energy pathway running along the spine, connecting the base of the spine to the crown of the head. It is referenced in the yoga, tantric, and qigong traditions and is considered crucial for spiritual growth and energy flow.
I read somewhere (I believe it was in the book The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life by Drunvalo Melchizedek) that humans used to breathe through their central channel before the fall. I found that hard to imagine until I had my own direct experience of it.
I was listening to a guided meditation to connect to the Unified Field and fell asleep laying down on my yoga mat. When I started to slowly regain conscious awareness, I felt a column of air moving through the top of my head down along my torso.
I groggily lay there, feeling this current pass through me until my attention fell on the sensation of the air column passing out what felt like a giant opening at my butt (base of the spine). This horrified me for a split second and I sat up straight, alarmed and fully awake now.
With the sudden grip of fear, it was gone. I was back to breathing normally. As I reflected on this peculiar experience, I got curious and wished for it to happen again, though it never did.
Similar to my kundalini awakening (see here), this was also a spontaneous occurrence for which I completed no training nor had the knowledge of or desire for it, at least in this lifetime.
Something tells me it may have been recorded in my cellular memory from past lives and reactivated perhaps because I was receptive and ready at that moment.
Unfortunately, fear does shut many things down. I trust what needed to occur happened and there is no need for me to pursue it further for the time being.
